It all depends on the accuracy of the reports of Sarah Palin still owing $400,000 in legal fees and the enormous number of hours spent fighting those ridiculous ethics charges. The American people will be very understanding if this is made abundantly clear to them. Middle class people can especially comprehend the impact of living under the threat of severe financial damage.
A number of conservative commenters fail to realize the importance of Sarah’s financial troubles. They live in the New York-Washington, DC corridor and raising $500,000 is not really a big deal to them. It’s a modest challenge and nothing more than that. We should not forget that Palin lives in the boondocks of Alaska.
