Referring to Muslims as ‘Asians’ really does confuse the issue. If an issue at hand involves Muslims, use the word Muslim.

No matter what impact the St. George’s Day parade might or might not have on Muslims, let’s remember what Islam is, what it isn’t, and why your thinking shouldn’t be swayed by their petty, whining sensibilities.
Islam is NOT a religion. It is a seventh century Arabian supremacist belief system, the principles and ancient hatreds of which remain unchanged from that time and place.
It is a complete way of life which includes religion and in which governance and religion are one and the same.
It is a system; a way of life in which God’s law is THE law. Check the Constitutions of Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Afghanistan if you remain skeptical.
That not every Muslim is in full compliance with the tenets of that complete way of life is irrelevant and does not negate what Islam really is and what it really teaches.
So-called ‘moderate’ Muslims are like Catholics who use artificial birth control methods. Each is engaged in selective compliance with the demands of their respective beliefs, and each knows it.
As a theocracy, Islam is antithetical to the very essence of liberal Western democratic principles and many of its core dictates violate the United States Constitution and relevant American law. No, we don’t allow Muslims to amputate the hands of unrepentant thieves–despite what God says in Qur’an 5:38.
And before I forget, to Muslims, Allah is the same God of Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

According to Islam, I and my wife and my children are filthy Kuffar; unbelievers, if you will, to whom ‘the’ Muslims should offer a choice of conversion, life as a dhimmi under the ‘protection’ of toothless, uneducated barbarians, or warfare.
Never mind that this IS the twenty-first century and I don’t live in a Muslim majority part of the Middle East.
Islam has no legitimate place in the West.
Oh, and by the way; about that word ‘extremists’. What is it they’re being extreme about, exactly? Islam?
