She did not abandon anything. She passed them on to the person legally qualified to assume them.

Understands that the same elements that lifted the Usurper to power are present in Ms. Palin by at least a factor of 4.
She is more photogenic, articulate and just flat out smarter. Plus she has won office against all the odds before. The Usurper was given his senate seat and then was pranced into the White House thru some of the best political flim-flam from sea to shining sea.
Sara knows who Zaller is, the Usurper needed Axelrod, he wasn’t smart enough to do it on his own.
