Resigning the Governorship of Alaska now frees Palin in many ways to work nationally.
She gets away from the frivolous ethics complaints war of attrition. Fundraising for herself and others. Campaigning with conservative candidates in the 2010 elections to build needed political alliances for her 2012 campaign for President, which she will win.
This move has been in the works for a while.
Those who think Palin is slinking away with her tail tucked between her legs are in for a big surprise.
