While everyone is involved with the Tea Parties (and they should continue – this is grass roots politics at its best), remember to also talk about and demand that your State Legislature & Governor invoke the 10th Amendment – see here http://www.tenthamendmentcenter.com/ for more on that! If you are not sure what the 10th Amendment to the United States Constitution says, here it is:
“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”
That is to say, the United States is supposed to be made up of 50 self-governing States… and it’s time we took back the Constitution from those that would denigrate and reinterpret it’s meaning for their own purposes!
