johnt . . . Your grasp of the issues wouldn’t stand up in an 8th-grade debate class. No position, no insight, no proof, no passion.

Bush destroyed our economy. One quick example for you to consider: Goldman Sachs went to Congress in 2004 (that’s five years ago) and requested that capital requirements be removed, which let them double the leverage they were allowed to keep on their balance sheets. No hearings. No questions. Nothing. Just, “Sure, you bethcha!” That was Bush and his House and Senate. The result? Leveraging worthless assets at 33:1. Disaster. And they KNEW what they were doing. They were in a net negative position, betting against the very assets they were underwriting. Now tell me again what Barney effing Frank did to destroy this economy. You putz.

And now you whine because Obama can’t fix everything in six months. But the economy will turn around, and when it does Republicans are cooked for good. That’s why the right wing media machine is winding up its drones like you, trying to create discord and hysteria as quickly as possible.

Thankfully, the bitter and ignorant part of the conservative base has very little impact on the sway of this great American society. You had your chance You blew it . . . huge. We won. We’ll fix it. And we’ll leave you whimpering in the political wilderness for years to come.

Meanwhile, you just keep on with your opinions of the ‘Honduran thug” whose name you didn’t even know last week. That’s the conservatives’ approach to geopolitics . . . “Listen to Rush. Confirm it with Hannity. Claim it as your own.”

Good luck with that.
