Feminist Icon…for doing what. Writers need to get a grip. She’s going through a nasty time and handling it bravely. Her husband seems to be a bit goofy and should resign. I don’t know her personal accomplishments other than pushing her husband but as far as I’m concerned she’s not in the same league as Palin. Other than being a conservative woman I see no comparison. We don’t need to laud every strong conservative woman as an icon to compete with liberal feminist dogma, in fact its going down to their level to do so. Do we really need to declare someone an icon just because the liberal press hounds us with lies about conservatives? The word hero and icon have been made irrelevant by how its used by the press and what they consider an icon or hero so just stick to the facts. Conservatives know how to figure out who’s and icon or hero, unlike liberals we don’t need to be told who to respect and honor.
