Because youth are overwhelmingly Democratic, and Democrats vote for Democrats regardless of their qualifications.
You also have to count the massive voter fraud. This was not a ‘clear’ election of Franken, or a ‘clear’ rejection of Republicans. It was shady, back-room political dealing of the type that got Obama his job.
Anybody who thinks highly of Franken needs to get out more. He’s a hack comic (who, hilariously, couldn’t ‘hack’ it – he turned to political writing), a hack political writer (his only contribution is calling more successful people names), a failed DJ who stole money from and helped bankrupt Air America, a failed commentator … but a successful politician.
You folks deserve what you barely voted for.
