All the above is true but there may be an affirmative action urge at work here that will overcome all doubts. There seems to be a lot of people, not all Democrats, who want to see a black president no matter the consequences. We had better think about how we will save the civilization we have until this urge passes. Then, of course, is the coming ice age.
