Esterhazy, umm from hungarish origin, that was a fluent german speaker, no wonder, Hungary was ruled by Austria !
If you read his bio, he was born in Paris and Esterhazys had been living in France for two centuries. The fact he spoke German had little or nothing to do with Hungary being ruled by Austria.
