I grew up and lived in the south side of Chicago from 1938 to 1980. Chased out of one neighborhood after another, I recognized the face of these priviledged white liberals who called me racist but were the first to flee.
From 47th street to South Shore to the East Side it was always the same, Flee then condemn the whites that remained.
