Black voters are a lost cause. The liberals have done an effective job programming a lot of preconceived notions about the GOP into their heads. These “offensive” pranks (at least one of them was useful in making a point) don’t help, but they’re not typical of the GOP party. Sadly, Ruben appears to be a victim of liberal propaganda himself. You can’t cherry pick a few sartiricial jabs made at the president’s expense (even at poor taste) and derive a pattern out of it. Let’s not forget the left leaning media and their Hollywood cohorts are kings of crude jokes and bad taste.

I’m all for the GOP courting minority votes, but “let’s make nice” won’t cut it. They should cut right through these petty rhetorics and ask blunt, tough questions. Where’s hard evidence that democrats have actually improved the lives of their minority / immigrant constituents? Here in LA, Antonio Villaraigosa is busy chasing TV personalities, and Fabian Nunez and and Karen Bass are self explanatory to most Californians. Arnold is practically a democrat in his spending ways. That’s why many democrats voted for him.
