I’m a moderate who used to believe in the stereotype that liberals were more tolerant until I moved to the DC area (perhaps not as liberal as Hollywood but in the running). The liberals I’ve met here are the most close-minded, intolerant people ever. I known more than a few who won’t associate with anyone who doesn’t share their political and social beliefs. Conservatives may be outspoken about their views, but I’ve never met one who won’t associate with people who think differently than they do.
