That streisand point is right on target. i thought this article was weakest when tried to say streisand is more important. But this is all very idiosyncratic. i mean let’s face it, streisand appealed to women more than men, so maybe i “just don’t get it.”

I won’t be as harsh on his music as others were. There are some songs i thought were really good, like “smoooth criminal.” i loved that rock remake a couple years ago (and let’s face it, the video is hilarious). And while the content of Billie Jean is pretty ironic now (denying vehemently he slept with an adult woman), i always loved the way that the music created a nice and mysterious mood.

But then if i was going to be trapped on an island with only one artist’s songs, it wouldn’t be michael’s. It would probably be CCR.
