michael jackson was a great singer, dancer, and songwriter. i too cringe at the claims about race from the race-mongers, and of course he was an absolutely degenerate freakshow later in life, but i thought his musical legacy is secure. it’s been disappointing to me that there has been so much coverage of his pedophilia and other disorders but a complete absence of coverage of what brought him to our attention and made him famous in the first place. he really was great, and much better than anything today. i’d think that part of mj would be easy to praise and separate from his other life. why does everything have to be an abductio ad absurdum in order to reach and report on the salacious? come on.
