Making Obama responsible for the actions of someone he does not know or condone is not responsible. Why not make the mayor responsible because the man lives in L.A.? Why not make all clergy? Why not demanding an apology from the Pope? Will Ms. Ziman apologize for all the slights of African Americans by Jews?

This event, if it is related truthfully, is reprehensible. It has nothing to do with Barack Obama. The Clinton supporter’s attempt to bring divisive racism into politics is more reprehensible than the insult she endured. Jews should be smart enough not to swallow this kind of hatred. We have endured it for too long to be the purveyors of hatred.
