Let’s see, French military secrets were sold to the Germans by a ne’erdowell named Esterhazy. Dreyfus was the only Jew in that section of the military. He was scapegoated because of the reactionary bias of the military (as well as other segments of French society).
Islamophobia is based upon the current frontrunners, or pace-setters, of man’s inhumanity to man.
In other words, the first example is of what got
cooked up. The second example is an honest appraisal.
Connection? Only that both are actions, but that
seems to trump the differences between the two.
