Ali I’ll believe the “new approach” (which seems like the old approach of appeasment and Hudna) when it produces results.
Right now the Taliban has the Khyber pass closed and your ambassador to Afghanistan hostage, and they are making strange requests that the ambassadors in Iran and China comply to something unknown (see this morning’s news.) I’ve seen more sectarian strife the past few weeks, and seen more demands from the Taliban with them operating openly in several areas.
