Well, I believe our forefathers fought and bled to give us a better world and I think they believed that that world would eventually be easier and more peaceful. Obama is a natural product of this “natural evolution” of man. Trouble is, it’s not natural at all. Unfortunately, not everyone sees the world this way. Not everyone wants to play nice in the playground. I actually wish the Obama’s of this world were right, at least in this regard, but fascism, totalitarian communism, jihad and other factors, yet unknown, have and will continue to prove them wrong. We must continue to build that world but we must still be vigilant, capable and courageous enough to defend it. Kindness is a wonderful virtue. I suppose we can even be kind to vipers but we should never embrace them.
To everything there is a season,
a time for every purpose under the sun.
A time to be born and a time to die;
a time to plant and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
a time to kill and a time to heal …
a time to weep and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn and a time to dance …
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing;
a time to lose and a time to seek;
a time to rend and a time to sew;
a time to keep silent and a time to speak;
a time to love and a time to hate;
a time for war and a time for peace.
ecclesiastes 3:1-8
Only a commie dupe, the likes of Pete Seeger, could pervert this wisdom to something that negates the half that they don’t like. The internationalist wishful thinkers forget that there is “a time for peace and a time for war” and it won’t be a time of their choosing. In the end, it’s about striking a balance, after all.
