wow, the amount of hypocrisy on the blog is stunning.
Gee, I wish i could live in your world, where no one that you know or care for ever says a racist, homophobic, sexist, anti-immigrant or anti-Semitic statement, and that unless you thoroughly denounce that statement then and there, you are part and parcel of that sentiment as well.
This is unreal, to call out someone for racism and then engage in racial sterotyping yourselves!
I wasn’t there for the talk, but could it be that this Hillary Clinton supporter is perhaps being a wee bit oversensitive and using this as a platform for her candidate?
I have Jewish friends who will say as the insider joke “jews own the media.”
If anyone outside that group says the same thing, they’re anti-semitic and one step away from being a Nazi.
Could it be that the Rev. was railing about negative and racist images in the media? Could it be that he was talking about Jews owning the media as well and maybe calling Jews to task for this because of a shared history of oppression? Maybe.
Could he have said it better? Probably.
Was he filled with hate? Probably not.
