My condolences to Daphna Ziman for the pain she experienced due to Rev. Eric Lee’s speach. I am even more horrified by the response on this website. Yes, the speech reported here was hateful and full of prejudice. And we should all speak out against this preacher. But how can so many people respond to it by dishing out even more racial generalizations and stereotypes. And how can you go so far as to link Barrack Obama and all other black people who have nothing to do with him?

How do you expect to ever end this hatred or receive respect if you make such illogical, mean-spirited and, completely racist comments? I am ashamed that this, in some eyes, will represent the view of all Jewish people. Luckily most Americans now understand that the Jewish community, like the Black community and America as a whole is made up of people with diverse points of view, the vast majority of whom are capable of compassion, decency and understanding.
