Once a bigot, always a bigot. I’d like to see people from within his religious community speak up. Say that that is not what they believe and that there is absolutely no place for a man like that on a pulpit or in any position of religious authority. What a disgusting an inexcusable speech he delivered. To denigrate a person that was invited for humanitarian award, serving the black community and no less… and inject venimous religious stereotypes. There can be no explanation or excuses for Rev Lee’s behavior and any people that choose to condone or excuse his racist views are just fanning flames of racism which will only serve to hurt everyone including themselves.
