39. The Republicans may not have wanted Ron Paul, but they did want Mike Huckabee, if only he had the money. Huckabee spent fewer dollars per delegate than any other Republican candidate last year. If he’d had even half the money Mitt Romney had at his disposal, Huckabee would be President right now. What would a Huckabee administration look like? NO Bailouts, NO stimulus, save for things that actually rebuild infrastructure, NO crazy czar positions, NO racist judicial appointments, NO tolerance for congressional nonsense like pork barrel projects and crazy exemptions. Huckabee may not be a libertarian’s ideal candidate, but he shares nearly all their goals, even if his strategy is different.
