I think your looking at this thw wrong way… i think for the most part the police did do the right thing. The failing is on citizens and the government… ie lack of guns and lack of citizens shooting robbers, etc, etc.
This stuff wouldn’t happen if citizens were allowed to defend themselves and THEIR PROPERTY. The police are their to clean up the mess…. not to somehow play god.
