Where did you come up with that one billion number when refering to the population of Africa? While I agree with your estimate of 316 million as to the number of african muslims, last I heard the population of africa was only 660 million, making the 316 million muslims easily the dominant religion by far. I don’t agree that islam is waning in Africa. They’re killing as many non-muslims as they can, as fast as they can, and the world just sits back and watches in morbid fascination.
