the idea that we’ll end illegal immigration by building walls and fences along the U.S.-Mexican border is as absurd as they come.
Utterly unpersuasive. Phony premise. Building walls and fences around bank vaults (or “gated communities”) won’t “end” robbery (or trespassing), either; but it’s a start.
