At best this is stopgap.
Being the party of not obama can maybe work for 2010 (i doubt it). Definitely won’t work for the 2012 primaries when republican dysfunction is on full display again. Not to mention, you’re not going to be able to run against healthcare after it passes. You aren’t going to be able to run against the stimulus/bailouts if the economy recovers. You can’t run on security issues if we are still haven’t been attacked. Most of this is wait and see.
