Not Obama is a winning strategy. Guilt tripped whites are hesitant to directly come out against Barack Obama. They are, however, increasingly rejecting just about all of his policies. Furthermore, Obama’s own personal popularity does little to help the purple and red state Democratic Party politicians seeking reelection. Embracing the president’s agenda is a sure fire way to damage oneself politically.
