disheartened

The hatred spewed in this blog is disheartening to say the least. The racist, ignorant comments that have been made by supposed educated people on this blog are disgusting and shameful! As a victim of bigotry I would expect those familiar with its insidious ways to be more mindful of their comments. Sadly, it seems that victimhood often times leads some to believe they are entitled to respond with hateful racist rhetoric. Shame on all of you.

Only because my mother is a passing acquaintance of Ms. Ziman’s am I aware that she had made previous allegations regarding Sen. Obama. She falsely claimed that he had made anti-Israel comments. Luckily for Sen. Obama others immediately came forward to refute her allegations. Here again it appears her statements are false. I say appears because I have yet to see the tape. I have however read the written response from Rev. Lee.(sent out by one of Ms. Ziman’s friends) in which he flatly denies her allegations. Her story has also changed between the time of the interview and the written account which she sent out on e-mail. For my own edification I have requested a copy of any available video from the dinner, so I can hear it for myself. I must admit that given Ms. Ziman’s track record and her fervent support of Sen. Clinton I have deep concerns about her veracity. It is also of great concern that she is a personal friend of Sen. Clinton and it is difficult to believe that she is engaging in race baiting on her own. If I am successful in my request for any tapes of the dinner, I will happily share them so the record will be correct regardless of who’s telling the truth( Ms. Ziman or Rev. Lee) If it is discovered that Ms. Ziman has been dishonest in her account, I challenge this blog to post it. I for one know that if my fears are true and Ms. Ziman is simply engaging in race baiting to further Sen. Clinton’s cause. I will withdraw my support for Sen. Clinton and encourage others to join me. I would be curious to see how many of you bother to check the facts for yourself. Or is this the justification you needed for your obvious deep seated hatred for African Americans? It is so sad to me that people who have experienced the pain of such brutal bigotry have chosen to inflict it on others instead of taking on the personal responsibility to combat this type of hatred. “A threat to justice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” If it is acceptable to be hateful towards one of God’s children because of color, creed, or national origin, which of us will ever be safe from it?
