Note that, in his apology, the scripture Lee decides to quote is a story about Jews celebrating the suffering of their enemies, and God chiding them for wanting bad things for those ‘other people’ who gave them trouble.
THIS IS JUST A DIFFERENT WAY OF HIM MAKING HIS POINT.
IT isn’t an apology at ALL. The words appearing around this quote are just to provide cover for it.
He is still insulting the Jews for their arrogance. Can you believe it?
