If you research the history of science, mathmatics, and inventions going back 2 to 3 thousand years most all advances came from white people. Cars, trains, airplanes, steam engines, gas engines, diesel engines, jet engines, light bulbs, vacuum tubes, transistors, sewing machines, radio, television, telephones, computers, internet, …..most anything you can think of was invented by a white american or european.
Off the top of my head, Hindu-Arabic numerals, the concept of zero, and a number of considerable advances in surgical technique, such as for bladder stone removal and split nose repair, come from the East Indians. I consider the idea of place numbering rather a dramatic invention. Can you imagine doing long division or calculus using Roman numerals?
Oh yeah: gunpowder. Invented by the Chinese.
How can this be true if all races and cultures are equal.
1. I don’t believe that all cultures are equal. Western civilization (which includes Latin America) has some real advantages. But that doesn’t prevent other cultures from adding some useful stuff, too.
2. Western civilization has some real advantages–and you will notice that blacks who were fully integrated into American culture made important inventions that they might not have made had their ancestors stayed in Africa. This argues that the difference is culture, not race.
