I would like to note that if this is the genuine text of the Lee apologia, verbatim, that I am impressed with neither the grammar nor the spelling. Perhaps his problem is ignorance or stupidity rather than evil. But of course there’s always D: all of the above.

Snarking aside, who can believe or say these things with a straight face? And read the first paragraph, the first sentence, and tell me it’s not gibberish – that was probably arm-twisted out of him, to boot.
