I’m not Jewish, and have never been to a Seder, so maybe I’m misinterpreting this. But it appears this “apology” ends with a condemnation of the Jews.

“a Seder ceremony in which the children of Israel are fleeing Pharaoh’s army and celebrate the drowning of their pursuers in the Red Sea. G-d’s response was disappointment”

Lee ends his “apology” by saying “God is disappointed” in the Jews…for supposedly celebrating a miracle God did in their behalf. My internet search of the scriptures says, on the contrary, that the Jews were in “awe and fear of the power of the Lord”.

“God is disappointed in the Jews”?
