The sad thing is by the time the national election occurs ‘the machine’ will have spun and turned this in a non-event. The faithful Dems will walk in to the polling place and “pull the handle” for Obama or anyone else given the Dem nod.
GOP members will do the same thing on their side. This kind of stuff happens because we ignore what is right in front of us.
We as the voting public need to get our act together and start holding htese politicians accountantable. We need to stop allowing certain people to say, certain things, just because they are in the same demographic or party as we are.
I am GOP and I am more appalled every day by the things I hear GOP party faithful spout.
I wish at some point those of us in the middle/moderate ground of both parties would get together and say enough of these loud mouth extremist that represent a small portion of our country.
Those of us that work hard, care about others and strive for the success of our country need to gather a stronger voice.
There is no excuse for anti semitic commentary just like there is no excuse for racism.
