At least the Iranians fake democracy. Our leading ally in the Middle East (Saudi Arabia) is unapologetically authoritarian. Don’t you people get it? It’s about money and power. The U.S. has turned its back on democratic revolutions in the past because the money wasn’t right.
What Obama is doing right now is the smart thing to do; keep his mouth shut and wait and see who wins. After all, that’s what every post World War II president has done…
