I’m a substitute teacher in a local elementary school. The word that comes to mind as I read this article is “indoctrination”. I see it at all levels of education. Schools feed, clothe, immunize, provide day care for, and teach our nation’s children. It’s not surprising that the powers that be in education deem it necessary to take it one step further and spoon feed them in what they believe is the politically correct way to think and act. Our children will grow up with no skills in respectful and informative debate, most of them having been taught only one side of every issue – the teacher’s side.
