I have come to believe in conscription. If our high school graduates were required to serve two years for our country or in serving humanity in some other country, they would return with a new appreciation for what they have and for what this country stands for. We also wouldn’t have the binge drinking on college campus’. One young man who came back from Iraq said when he came home and went to college he had a new purpose and wasn’t going to waste his time drinking and partying. After having seen first hand how lucky we are in this United State, he wanted to take advantage of making something of himself
