I’m really afraid of car accidents. I know just enough probability to make me dangerous, so I know that driving down the road is just about the riskiest thing I do in any given day. I haven’t been in a car accident involving injuries since I was 17 (half my lifetime ago!) but I’ve hit my share of little red poles and bumped a couple of bumpers since then, and I keep feeling like I’m getting away with something I don’t deserve.
My fear of car accidents has gotten a bit better since I took up genealogy.
