While living in a Middle Eastern country from 2002 to 2006, I met several Iranian converts to Christ, mostly, if not all, refugees. Despite oppression from Muslim neighbors, the converts’ new faith was strong and their hearts full of love for God and their fellow man.
Concerning Christian missionaries and their converts, I’ve seen exaggerated figures in the Islamic media before. I suspect the exaggerations may be an attempt to rouse Muslims to action against the spread of the Gospel.
