Those are most certainly NOT “the facts” and you are wrong to a serious degree.
I have (in the USA) a number of Jewish friends who voted for SOBama, yet now are ashamed…or at least regret it terribly. They have shown/admitted their genuine naivete (in their words, feeling duped, tricked, fooled…well, duuuuuh).
Though a number of American Jews may NOT have the connection to Israel which once was a given, that is not to say that their “selfishness” (if I may paraphrase you) caused them to vote for the SOB.
