Oh, I forgot to add: If I know I’m going to need extra pocket space — for example, if I’ll be walking around at a science fiction convention or a trade show all day — I’ll wear a fisherman’s vest over my T-shirt. That provides all the extra pockets I can possibly need. These are the same vests that you see photojournalists wearing on field assignments, for the same reason. I don’t typically need to wear my vest more than a couple of times a year, but on those occasions when I need it, I really need it.
