Yeah, I really need to pay twice as much for my energy bill, twice as much for gasoline, and more for all the food, clothing, and other necessities that use carbon-based energy for their production and transportation. Also, I really need the government to tell me which doctors I can see while they drive others out of the profession because the cost of practicing will exceed allowed rates. And if my doctor does tell me a need an expensive procedure, but the government doesn’t agree – well, like you said, what I really need is health care REFORM, not health care.
You’re so right: that’s exactly what this country needs, and those of us who would question the wisdom of such solutions should just shut up. Thank you for setting me straight.
