#48 Confused in Virginia: “I can’t recall any other President seeing the job as a 9-5 job.” President Reagan took a lot of time off. He was also known for falling asleep in Cabinet meetings.

#49 Sherab Zangbo: you referred us to a column by Oliver North. Among other criticisms of Obama, Ollie offered the following: “Mr. Bin Laden ‘gets it;’ Mr. Obama doesn’t.”

Earlier today, it was reported that the ranking Republican on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Richard Lugar, praised Obama’s speech and referred to it as a “signal achievement.” Let’s see. Who has more credibility here? An accomplished U.S. senator, foreign policy specialist, and Rhodes scholar (Lugar). Or a convicted felon who got his convictions tossed out on appeal due to technicalities (good ‘ol Ollie).

#53 ReConUSMC: please use spell-check or just calm down before you write. You have so many typos that it’s hard to figure out what you’re saying.

#63 Roark: “If this speech is considered ‘good,’ then America’s moral character and integrity has been reduced to crap.” See my response above.
