Welcome to the 21st century. Get over yourselves. Why should religious beliefs of any kind be protected from criticism? Christianity and Judaism are criticized constantly and vehemently. So what? If your beliefs can’t stand up to scrutiny maybe the beliefs are lame anyway. If people want to believe all this god stuff, that is up to them. Demanding respect for any of these views isn’t going to make it so. Demanding a critical free zone isn’t going to protect irrationality forever.
My concerns aren’t for religious views but for religious freedom, including freedom from religion. Religions are not worthy of respect only people. Imagine!
