What I don’t get is this phony excuse of freedom of speech being used to justify this film. Wilder is using fear tactics to create an us vs. them attitude and incite hatred. When Mel Gibson spurted out nonsense in a drunken state that “Jews are responsible for all wars” everyone was shocked. When the character on Seinfeild crossed a line about blacks during his comedy routine that created an uproar. When the Imus called those basketball players knappy headed hoes, he got fired. So when Muslims have a problems with a film, then all of the sudden we want to indoctrinate everyone and force people to live under Shariah law and all this apocolyptic doomsday nonsense surfaces.
Wilder wants to ban the Quran but thinks its a violation of free speech to ban his film. There’s so much hypocrisy its really disgusting!
