Erasmus, where are you getting this “attack to be safe” nonsense? Your distortion of the term strength is what makes your argument misleading. National security, in this country, is accomplished by “hardening the target.” Regardless of what the Obama administration wants you to believe, this is NOT accomplished through “fireside chats”. In an attempt to empathize with the Jihads, he openly proclaims that we are one of the largest islamic countries in the world. Do you honestly believe that Al Qaeda and other terrorist groups with Islamic ties, whose main purposes are to propagate FEAR, will denounce their entire livelihood just because the President of the United States said so? That little part of a terrorists mind which harbors the fear of retaliation just went out the window. Thanks Mr. President.

As for your statement regarding the lack of attacks recently, is it a mortal sin for liberals to admit that MAYBE just maybe that ‘Dubya’ was the reason? No, its always “We tortured them for information. Regardless of what that information was, that’s wrong” or “Obama is just cleaning up his mess.” Get over yourselves and put down the kaleidoscope; look at things for what they are NOT what you want them to be. The greatest act of terrorism ever committed against this country occurred nine months into President Bush’s first term. On 9/12, if someone guaranteed you that there would not be another attack on American soil for the next EIGHT YEARS, what would your response have been?
