The government of the Green Zone cannot muster the requisite boots on the ground to do it. Maliki is one more chickenhawk who is willing to fight to the last American KIA. Our valiant American fighting men and women, during this ignoble occupation assigned to them, have become just one more militia among many in Iraq. We may be the most powerful of all the militias, and the only one with air cover. But our militia, as the occupier, has the least legitimacy of all the others.
