I believe Obama when he says he would have left the church if he heard inappropriate comments. Admittedly, that doesn’t take any faith on my part as Obama left the church after every service. So while Obama’s careful parsing is technically true, the real meaning depends on the definition of “left” which, oddly, is also an open question on his agenda. His speeches are full of “hope” and “change” but the details, and substantial cost, are “left” out. Just how “left” is his “left” agenda?
