If America were to adopt some of the policies of modern Germany, perhaps we would not be where we are today. Half the country in denial, the other half self imposed victims. The truth is, we have made strides in the legal sense but we have far to go on a emotional level. For example: Despite our professed progres, who would welcome with open arms their daughter coming home to introduce her african-american fiance?
