#7 Ozzie: You’ve hit the nail right smack dab on the head!
We’ve raised a few generations now with no sense of history, no idea of the global geo/political landscape, an inability to concentrate or apply themselves to a task for more than 30 seconds, and an inability to perform even the most basic of mathematics without the aid of a calculating device of some sort.
Of course not all of todays youth are this pathetic at life, as witnessed by the young men and women serving in the military for example. But for every bright-eyed bushy-tailed young firecracker out there I reckon there are at least nine others who can’t make the correct change at a supermarket, or even tell you the name of their states second largest city!
All they lack is a ring through the nose for the powers-that-be to lead them around their life with. (I forgot about the idiot body modification types who’ve probably had several ring strategically placed on their a$$inine selves for this very purpose!)
